Intelligent hot water, now for commercial buildings
Mixergy Previews Commercial Cylinder Range at Elemental 2025
Mixergy is already saving up to 40% on hot water energy use across domestic new build and social housing projects, and now, the same patented technology lowering bills and reducing carbon emissions in homes can be applied to commercial buildings.
At this year’s Elemental Show, Mixergy will preview its new range of intelligent commercial cylinders, giving visitors an exclusive first look ahead of the full launch in 2026. The range has been developed to help commercial buildings reduce energy use, cut carbon emissions and enable smarter, more flexible hot water energy management.
The range will be available in 500, 800, 1125 and 2000 litre sizes, all with full Modbus connectivity for seamless integration into building management systems, providing the flexibility to meet the demands of public sport venues, stadia, leisure facilities, offices and hospitality settings.
Cut energy use and carbon at scale
At the core of every Mixergy system is patented sensor technology that enables top-down heating, ensuring only the water needed is heated, exactly when it’s needed. This intelligent control provides precise visibility of how much hot water is available and at what temperature, reducing energy use by up to 40% and delivering faster recovery without compromising performance or comfort.
The top-down approach also means more usable hot water can be delivered from each cylinder, allowing smaller cylinders to meet higher demand. As a result, fewer cylinders are required and valuable plantroom space is freed for other services.
Future ready by design
The new range will be direct electric, solar ready and heat pump ready, with up to three immersion heater power options available to suit different design and installation requirements. Each cylinder is engineered for performance led electrification, delivering measurable savings while supporting long term decarbonisation goals.
Connected for smarter energy management
Every Mixergy system can connect to the grid, enabling smarter use of energy across commercial buildings. By supporting dynamic energy management and participation in demand response services, Mixergy is fully load shift ready. This means buildings can store energy during low-cost, low-carbon periods and draw less from the grid when demand peaks, reducing operating costs while easing network pressure.
As energy flexibility becomes a core part of commercial decarbonisation goals, this capability positions buildings to benefit from future grid incentives and emerging revenue streams tied to flexible load management.
