The iHP X is our all-in-one heat pump cylinder, with a built-in heat pump sitting right on top, dedicated to heating your home’s hot water efficiently.

If you’re using an external energy source—like a heat pump, gas boiler, or solar PV—then Mixergy X or Solar X might be the better fit.

You’ve have two options: connect directly to your solar panels with our Solar X or go through a third-party diverter, by adding a PV Switch to a Mixergy X.

Going direct means you can store the extra solar energy that would normally go back to the grid and use it for your hot water instead—maximising what you generate.

Prefer a diverter? No problem. Mixergy works seamlessly with top brands like MyEnergi Eddi and Solar iBoost, so you can manage your solar energy however works best for you.

Our Mixergy X and Solar X cylinders are built to be heat pump-ready.

If you’re planning to install a heat pump, let your installer know when purchasing your cylinder. They’ll ensure your setup is designed correctly.

Mixergy cylinders are currently the only cylinders on the market which can be ‘Grid-enabled’ for use with smart energy tariffs from your utility company.

To install a Mixergy cylinder, you’ll need a fully qualified and competent plumber or heating installer with experience in unvented systems.

• In England & Wales, your installer must hold a G3 qualification
• In Scotland, they need a P3 qualification
• In Northern Ireland, a P5 qualification is required

Qualified installers can provide a registration card as proof of their credentials.

Please note that Mixergy cannot take responsibility for work carried out by any installer.

Mixergy cylinders provide up to a third more usable hot water than traditional cylinders, meaning you might not need as large a tank as you think. Ask your installer if a smaller size could work for your home—you could save space without sacrificing performance.

Our cylinders range in diameter, starting at 495mm to 582mm, and will have additional clearance requirements.

Mixergy cylinders are built to stay connected—linking to our app, syncing with smart tariffs, and giving you full remote control. Heading off on holiday? Just switch to Holiday Mode and save energy while you’re away.

If your internet ever drops, we’ve got a handy wired gauge on the cylinder, so you can still get hot water fast.

For the best connection, we recommend hardwiring your cylinder to your router, so be sure to mention this to your installer.

The length of warranty depends on the type of product you have.

• Mixergy X & Mixergy Solar X cylinders – 25 years on the cylinder and 3 years on the components.
• Mixergy iHP cylinders – 25 years on the cylinder, 5 years on the head unit and 3 years on the components.
